THE SHORT TERM IMPACT
Ø The project will provides new tools, to the VET teachers, trainers and counsellors that help them to early identify the learners/trainees who are at risk to drop out, absenteeism or violent behaviour and to intervene in time to prevent occurrence of such phenomena.
Ø The learners/trainees who are at risk to drop out, absenteeism or violent behaviour will benefit for earlier and more efficient counselling and personalized help.
Ø Manager board of educational and training institutions will benefit from an useful tool for identify the institutional factors that could influence the decision of learners/trainees to drop out, to absent frequently or to have a violent behaviour.
Ø All stakeholders will have the opportunity to collaborate, exchange information, experiences, new ideas in a very easy to use and friendly environment - SaVED online Platform.
Being implemented in 6 different countries, 5 from EU (Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, United Kingdom, and Austria) and 1 non - EU Member State (Turkey), the geographic impact of the project will be of high significance.
Ø At national level, in each partner country, the results of the project will contribute:
- to prevent the drop out, absenteeism phenomena and violent behavior in educational and training institutions;
- to improve the the quality of educational and training services;
- to foster the cooperation between stakeholders/relevant bodies such as educational and training institutions, family, employment services, public administration: police, social services other bodies from educational and training system by using modern TIC.
Ø At European level, the project results will contribute to the European efforts to reducing the rates of early education and training leaving. The participation of Turkey in this project will allow the results to be implemented also beyond the EU borders. The final product SaVED- online Platform will be an virtual environment at national and European level for all beneficiaries of project as well for all professionals/experts in the field of education and training. The platform will offer the possibility for continuous exchanges of experiences, opinions and good practices in the field of the project.
THE LONG TERM IMPACT
Ø VET teachers, trainers and counsellors will be more experienced in prevention of drop out, absenteeism and violent behaviour and these phenomena will occur less frequently.
Ø Educational and training institutions will provide better services and have more friendly environments.
Ø Policy makers, decision makers in the field of education and training could use the results for elaboration of national and European strategies aiming to reduce at minimum the drop out, absenteeism and violent behaviour phenomena by all three pillars: prevention, intervention and compensation.
Significant impact on achieving the national targets for rate of early leavers from education and training (i.e. BG 11%, RO 11.3%, and GR 9.7%) set in the National Reform Programs based on Europe 2020 Strategy. Consequently, the conditions for reaching the national targets for rate of population of 30-34–years-old that complete third level education will be assured (i.e. BG3 8%, RO 26.7%, GR 32%).
At European level, conditions to achieve the European target set by Europe 2020 Strategy for early leavers from education and training (EU27 10%) will be assured and also for rate of population of 30-34–years-old that complete third level education (EU27 40%)
